The Brokenness of the Project
After completing this game for JimJam2, I had to package it into an exe, however UE4 decided to not want to do that, breaking each project I tried to package it on. So after hours of effort trying to get it to package, making new burner projects and all that.
After all that effort, it worked, I zipped it up and chucked it out of the door. Unknown to me, how broken it really was, a whole chunk of the game was completely broken meaning the game couldnt be finished and repeated due to UE4 not packaging it right. I only realised this after i uploaded it and went to sleep (damn you timezones!).
I went to fix it after i woke up, but it was too late since the Jam submissions and edits were closed, so the page is left with a broken project that didnt work as intended.
Lesson Learned, thoroughly play-test the packaged project before submitting to make sure the packaging didnt fuck up
